The web3wikis House · Philippines

The House is real.

The House in this app has a twin made of wood, light and people. We are raising to buy a home in the Philippines where builders and curators live and work, where newcomers walk in and get onboarded, and where projects find a support arm they can count on.

Why a physical house

Web3 is learned beside someone.

Trust you can walk into

People new to web3 learn fastest from a person beside them. A front door, a desk and a face make the first wallet feel safe.

Curators and builders, side by side

The people who chart the uses and the people who build them share one table, so a gap found in the morning gets built by evening.

A support arm projects can rely on

Projects get a staffed Help Desk with real people who know their product, not a bot and a ticket queue.

Proof we are building for real

A house with lights on is harder to fake than a roadmap. Anyone can visit and see the work.

A base to build for chains in person

Ecosystems can send their teams to sit with ours, ship together and meet the people they are building for.

Why the Philippines first

A community that already shows up.

  • English is an official language, alongside Filipino, so tutorials, support and builder work can reach people directly.1
  • Families are linked across the world. The Philippines is consistently among the largest recipients of remittances, a daily reason to care about moving money well.2
  • An active web3 and gaming community. The country ranks in the top ten of Chainalysis's global crypto adoption index, with play-to-earn gaming a well documented driver.3,4
  • A culture of bayanihan, neighbours carrying a load together. That is exactly how the House is meant to work.

Why buy, not rent

Own the home. Like you own your keys.

  • Permanence. Cohorts come and go; the House stays, and so does everything it learns.
  • A home that compounds. Every room fitted out and every desk staffed adds to something we keep.
  • Owned by the venture, not by a landlord who can end the lease.
  • It mirrors web3's own ethos. We tell people to own their keys and their name. We should own our house.

The plan

What we intend to do, in order.

  1. 1

    RaiseRaising now

Bring together backers and partner projects who want the House to exist.

  2. 2

    Buy the house

Buy, not rent: a home the venture owns.

  3. 3

    Open the doors

Fit out the rooms and open the front door to the neighbourhood.

  4. 4

    The first cohort

The first builders and curators move in and get to work.

  5. 5

    The support arm goes live

Partner projects get their desk, staffed by our curators.

  6. 6

    More houses

What works in the first House becomes the template for the next.

This is intent, not a schedule. We will publish dates when they are real.

Questions

Straight answers.

What is the House?

A physical home where web3wikis builders, curators and admins live and work. It onboards people into web3, runs a human support arm for partner projects, and builds for chains and ecosystems. The House in this app is its digital twin.

Where is it?

The first House will be in the Philippines. The exact city and address will be shared once the house is chosen.

How does backing work?

Tell us how you want to help using the form on this page: sponsor a room, invest, donate equipment, become a partner project, or apply to live in. The House team replies to each one personally and agrees terms in writing with each backer.

What do room sponsors get?

Your name on a room in the physical House and its digital twin, and your project's support desk staffed by our curators. The details are agreed with each sponsor.

Is there a token or a promised return?

No. There is no token for the House and we do not promise any financial return. Any investment is discussed directly and in writing, never through this page.
